Brothers by Eagle

Two cheetah brothers playfully scrapping together in the sunset.
Cheetahs tend to have strong bonds in their male groups (they may or may not be related) long after their mother lets them go. I've always thought that to be very sweet.

This drawing took about 7 hours. I have a few issues with shading on the cheetahs.

Medium: Watercolour pencils
Tags: watercolor brothers watercolour cheetahs
Fresh Air by Eagle

A breath of fresh air.

I was inspired to do this after a recent trip on the Sandia Tramway near Albuquerque. It's quite beautiful up there.

This is a watercolour painting on VERY stiff watercolour paper. I don't think I was able to capture the full essence of what I was feeling on top of the mountain. I think I was more absorbed with getting away from school work.

Medium: Prang Watercolour pallet
Tags: Cheetah male watercolor serenity peace watercolour
Mataeus by Eagle

Drew this about a year ago..

I don't know what to say about this one. It's a medieval pose of dragoncrecent's bunny character, Mataeus. I did look at his own character pictures for reference, but I chose to take a different approach. The floppy ears for instance, and the cute bunny-like eyes. His muzzle is also a lot smaller than when the bunny draws Mateus. Again, it's all about style. This is just my approach :P Of course, I used the tones common in a lot of medieval military paintings.

Anyway, hope you all like it.
